Attic Organizer ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Attic Organizer is designed to keep your data on your device. We collect minimal information:

• NFC Tag Data: When you tap an NFC tag, the app reads the unique identifier and any content stored on it. This data stays on your device.
• Box Inventory: The names, contents, and notes you create for your boxes are stored locally on your phone using the device's built-in storage.
• Voice Input: If you use voice notes, speech is processed locally on your device and converted to text. No audio recordings are transmitted or stored by us.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not collect usage analytics or crash reports.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
• We do not use cookies or tracking technologies.
• We do not have any servers that receive data from the app — all data stays on your phone.

Data Storage

All data (box names, contents, notes, and NFC tag associations) is stored locally on your device using the built-in Capacitor Storage API. Deleting the app removes all associated data.

NFC Usage

The app uses your device's NFC (Near Field Communication) hardware to read from and write to NFC tags you place on your boxes. This requires NFC to be enabled on your device. The app only reads NFC tags when you explicitly tap the "Read" or "Write" button.

Microphone Access

If you choose to use voice notes, the app requests microphone access for speech-to-text transcription. Voice data is processed locally and converted to text on your device. No audio leaves your phone.

Third-Party Services

The app does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The sole purpose of the app is to help you organize your storage boxes.

Children's Privacy

Attic Organizer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
